Fortress Technologies Appoints Kurt Krueger as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development
New Executive Provides Federal Market, Strategy, and Business Development Leadership

Fortress
Technologies announced that Kurt Krueger has been appointed Senior Vice
President of Strategy and Corporate Development. In this new role,
Krueger will focus on expanding Fortress’ market penetration, customer base,
and product offerings. In addition, he will develop new strategies to
capitalize on the wide-range of growth opportunities available to the company
in the government market.
“Kurt
brings in-depth experience in leading start-up and established enterprise
organizations, as well as a history of helping companies expand their presence
in the federal market,” said Janet Kumpu, President, Fortress. “Kurt
will drive our strategic market initiatives, establish new avenues for organic
growth, expand our portfolio of high quality partners, and continue to recruit
top talent to the team to support our expansion. We are excited to have Kurt join the
Fortress team.”
Prior to
joining Fortress, Krueger served as Vice President and General Manager of BT
INS Federal, President and CEO of Midatlantic Strategic Consulting, Inc., and
Sales Director of Enterasys Networks. Krueger has also held numerous
other leadership positions in the technology field with companies such as Nortel
Networks, Bay Networks, and Bell Atlantic Network Integration. He has
over 20 years of network, security, and communications industry
experience.
