The company launched the new service at the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education (ACUTA) annual conference in Hollywood, FL.

Broadcast Alert is powered by RedSky's Location Information Server, and leverages the Emergency On-site Notification feature in the award-winning RedSky E911 Manager application to deliver SMS text messages to cell phones as well as email messages to desktop and laptop computers.
